Clive Boyd, Dave Ballingal give 74 years service to community
Two of Scugog’s longest serving firefighters hung up their hats earlier this year, and have been praised for their contributions to the community. The men, who have a combined service
record which stretches for more than 70 years were toasted and honoured by more than 140 of their colleagues and friends at a gala ceremony at the Scugog Centre on March 24, 2006.
Clive Boyd served 43 years and David Ballingal 31 years with the Port Perry/Scugog Township fire department.
