Trolley gets its own management board

City council has approved creating a management board for its heritage-themed trolley, despite one councillor predicting it will be scrap in two years. “Why do we need a management board to operate one trolley? asked Ward 6 Coun. Doug Elmslie, who suggested it would be more effective to place it under the already existing transportation advisory board. “We have over 50 boards of council,” he added. “This strikes me as overkill.” He emphasized he isn’t against the city having the trolley, noting its popularity during the Fenelon Falls Santa Claus Parade.
